James is originally from Kelowna, BC. He graduated from Vancouver Island University in June 2014 with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Accounting and earned his CPA designation in 2019.
James has background experience in office administration, dispatch in the trucking industry, and Non-Public Funds Accounting experience for the Canadian Armed Forces. He prepares bookkeeping, corporate tax returns, GST/HST returns, financial statements for our corporate clients, and personal tax returns.
James holds a 3rd Dan Black Belt in Taekwondo and in his spare time instructs teenagers and adults in addition to continuing his own training. He is also a provincially qualified Taekwondo referee and attends several BC Taekwondo Federation sanctioned tournaments each year around the province. James was previously an active member of the Royal Canadian Sea Cadet programme from 1989 until 2018.
James started with Cross & Company in June 2014.
